Description
TP4056 buffer power supply – Mini USB 1A charger
Mini USB charger TP4056 with a maximum power of 1A for lithium-ion batteries.
- It has functions to work as a buffer power supply. This circuit will come in handy when building additional power sources (such as a power bank).
- It has security, which prevents the charging voltage from exceeding 4.2V, and also protects against over-discharge – 2.5V (under load). This is important because Li-Ion, Li-Pol batteries during overcharging, as well as excessive discharge may get damaged.
- The principle of operation is very simple: given a 5V INPUT power supply, the module charges the battery pack, and also this voltage appears at the output of the OUT+ and OUT- terminals. When this power supply is disconnected, the module gives power from the battery, so that the powered receiver will receive current all the time.
- A useful device especially when using alternative energy sources such as photovoltaic panels or wind turbines.
