Description
DC-DC converter 1200W 20A – STEP-UP 8-60V / 12-80V
High voltage DC – DC converter with high current with adjustable output voltage and high efficiency (> 95%). The DC converter operates on an input supply of 8V to 60V DC and has the ability to adjust the output voltage via a built-in potentiometer from 12V to 80V. This allows you to power any circuit with a higher voltage than you have. The circuit is perfect for powering all kinds of DIY circuits, electric bikes, power LEDs, devices with microcontrollers, Arduino modules, etc.
Product features
- The inverter has a sizable heatsink, but if the currents exceed the values of 10A then active cooling should be used, so a fan that can be plugged into a dedicated input on the board „12VFAN”. On this output there will be 12V voltage for the fan automatically when the temperature, or current increases.
- The product has STEP – UP characteristics, so with a lower input voltage, it is possible to obtain a higher voltage at the output by adjusting the „CV V-ADJ” potentiometer”.
- An additional advantage of the inverter is the ability to set the maximum current over the entire operating range after another built-in potentiometer „CC A-ADJ”. Thanks to this, the system will disconnect when the current value exceeds the set threshold.
- Another built-in feature is the ability to set a minimum input voltage below which the inverter will disconnect. This protection is extremely useful when the system is powered, for example, from lithium batteries (Li-Ion / Li-Pol), rechargeable batteries, or other cells – which cannot be discharged below a certain level.
