LY6W meter settings – Selection of battery type and voltage.

To select the type and voltage of the battery measurement, press and hold the button before connecting the power supply.

After this action, the screen should show the option 0P, and with the button you select from these options: P – lead batteries, F – LiFePO4, C lithium cells:

• 0P – 100% from 8V meter trip
• 1P – voltage for 12V lead battery
• 2P – voltage for 24V lead battery
• 3P – voltage for 36V lead battery
• 4P – voltage for 48V lead battery

For packages LiFePO4:

• 1F – voltage for 1S 3.2V packet
• 2F – voltage for 2S 6.4V package
• …
• 19F – voltage for 19S package

For lithium packages:

• 2C – voltage for 2S pack – 7.4V
• 3C – voltage for 3S pack – 11.1V.
• ….
• 15C – voltage for 15S package – 63V

After selecting the option, we disconnect the power supply to the meter which remembers the setting and after the next start-up performs the measurement according to the new settings.
