Arduino – USB-UART/RS232 converter – with 100cm cable – PL2303HX

Universal converter module with USB – UART – RS232 output.

It allows programming of Arduino boards (e.g. MultiWii) and other boards with RS232/ TTL input which do not have a USB connector on their board.

NOTES to PL2303H:

• Controller based on PL2303HX chip

• For connections, it is sufficient to use
• GND
• TXD
• RXD
• Proper connection to the motherboard is very important – any other connection may damage the board electronics or FTDI.
• Designed for any board with TTL/ RS232 (TX/RX) input

Description for PL2303H controller:

• Compatible with Win XP / Vista
• PL2303 provides a convenient solution for connecting a full duplex asynchronous RS232 serial device
• PL2303 has drivers that simulate a traditional COM port on most operating systems allowing existing COM port-based applications to easily communicate with the device.
