P20/15 holding solenoid holds a weight of about 3 kg. The electromagnet can serve as an actuator controlled by any microcontroller, such as Arduino.

• The electromagnet draws a lot of power so when connecting it directly to the microcontroller pin, you need to use a relay, optoisolator or transistor amplifier.

  It is necessary to ensure that heat is dissipated from the housing, because as the temperature of the coil increases, the maximum force decreases. Electromagnet exhibits magnetic capability after supplying power voltage. Without power, it does not attract metals.
